Progamer, UI artist, Graphic Designer and Level Designer - Riley's Postmortem

Hello hello, people of the world. My name is Riley Seufert and I was the jack-of-most-trades when it came to this project.
This project for me was a change of pace, being on a project with two other level designers means that you need to go out of your comfort zone. With a bit of programing and UI experience lead to me being the lead on such topics. I used a prior project as a inspiration for the key game mechanics of going through walls and standing on objects that appear and disappear after a while.
When working on this project I was expecting less sudden changes to work flow then we had. My prior project with a similar mechanic was in Unity and this project was in Unreal, meaning there was more translating then I originally thought. After this hiccup I started working on the UI which I had a good time doing. With that being finished I went back to my norm and started designing (what my group called "set dressing") the environment.
My original estimated time was around 28 hours of work over 4 weeks. As of the week of posting this I will be at 16 this final week and 9 the other 3 weeks. I blame this on my own ambition to learn and my lack of proficiency in programming and UI in Unreal.
